Please remember to purchase SCRIP cards for the Holiday Season. They make great stocking stuffers and teacher gifts. A percentage of all orders goes right to the NPE PTO. Just download the order form and send it into school with your name and phone number, check made out to NPE PTO. Thanks so much!!

School Board Meeting Tonight!

NPE parents are encouraged to attend the next WSSD school board Meeting on Monday, November 14th at 7 pm at the Middle school.

Following the board meeting, the board and public are invited to meet with the two architecture firms, Schrader and Godshall Kane, regarding the NPE renovations. Both firms were requested to revise plans to fit into the 16.5mil budget. For more information please see the WSSD district website.

This meeting is for parents (and children) involved in the club last year or new parents who wan to be involved in planning for next spring.

We will be discussing a summary of activities from last year, Earth Day planning, recycling efforts at NPE and possible projects for next spring.

PTO Budget Update

There will be a new parent tea in the library immediatly following the drop off. 

Our first PTO meeting will be held at 7 pm in the library and we will be voting on the budget. 

Moving to Make a Difference

Dear Parents,

            Thanks to all of you and your support last year for the “Moving to Make a Difference” walkathon, we raised $5,939.05.  As a result of this fundraising attempt we were able to purchase two Smartboards and support NPE’s dedication to healthy lifestyle choices.  Many classrooms set walking goals for the event as well as the school year. This year we hope to continue this momentum by hosting our second “Moving to Make a Difference” walkathon on Friday, September, 23, 2011.   

“Moving to Make a Difference” will be conducted during the school day as part of NPE’s Healthy Choices Kickoff.  Students and Teachers will pledge as a classroom to reach a specific goal.  All children will participate and donations are not required.   However, we are simply asking you hand deliver or mail the donation/sponsor forms to as many of your friends and family as possible asking for support.  You may also use the recording sheet for donation collection over the phone.  Students are not to go door to door for this fundraiser.  Remember all donations made to PTO are tax deductible.  Let’s work together to make this a great success
